PADF Joins Hearts for Haiti Campaign

Valentine’s Day event to raise money for Haiti earthquake relief

January 29, 2010 – A major non-profit with nearly 30 years of on-the-ground development experience in Haiti will be one of the beneficiaries of Chef Ron Duprat’s “Hearts for Haiti: An American Dining Relief Benefit” on Valentine’s Day. http://www.panamericanrelief.org/ht/d/sp/i/16414/pid/16414

PADF, along with its partners Hollywood Unites for Haiti (HUFH) and the Organization of American States (OAS), provides immediate relief in key areas of the Haiti and will play a role in country’s recovery efforts. 

Chef Ron Duprat (Bravo's Top Chef Contestant in Season Six) created the innovative Hearts for Haiti (http://www.panamericanrelief.org/ht/d/sp/i/16414/pid/16414) to connect restaurants and their patrons with the ability to help people on the ground in Haiti.
On Valentine's Day, restaurants participating in Hearts for Haiti are asked to donate a percentage of their proceeds to relief and recovery efforts. Chef Ron, who is Haitian and is the executive chef at Latitudes Beach Cafe in Hollywood, Florida, is joined by Bravo's Top Chef Season Six winner Michael Voltaggio.

Lauderdale; and Michael Voltaggio of The Dining Room, Langham Huntington Hotel & Spa in Pasadena, Calif.
